Were currently looking for qualified candidates to join our winning
team. Oversee management and coordination of division resources responsible
for writing of fund shareholder reports, quarterly and monthly portfolio
manager commentaries, and ad hoc investment management content for both
U.S. and international distribution. Serve as principal reviewer for
all U.S.-distributed commentary. Serve as main point of contact with
various portfolio management groups regarding commentary issues.
You will be primarily responsible for
- Overseeing writers/resources within Global Advisor Services
- Editing original and repurposed commentary. Writing original commentary
(as needed)
- Acting as principal sign-off on all U.S. commentary
- Creating practices/procedures to maximize repurposing content
- Acting as liaison across platforms (e.g. Institutional Marketing,
Corporate Communications) and with Portfolio Management
- Managing and supervising content
- Overseeing the Global Portfolio Content System
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
We look for 8 to 10 years financial writing/editing experience, and 3 to 5 years of
staff management experience.
Must be able to work independently and ability to interact with
portfolio managers and senior management as needed.
Series 24 general securities principal license required within 3 months
of employment.
Excellent investment writing and editing skills.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and strong organizational skills
Knowledge of the mutual fund industry & solid understanding of
investment products.
Ability to exercise independent judgment in assessing
quality/appropriateness of content.
Strong familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and NASD
regulations.
Emphasis in English, Communications or similar discipline.
Bachelors degree or equivalent--marketing, journalism, communications
preferred.
